Founder's Day Ball 2015 - National Air and Space Museum | Outfit of the Night
Updated: Mar 18, 2020
This year my University's Founder's Day Ball was held at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. It is one of the most popular museums in DC because of all the amazing exhibits and pieces. If you haven't been to this museum yet and are in the area or plan on coming to DC soon, I definitely recommend it (admission is free like the majority of the museums in DC so it's a win win). For the evening I decided to wear a long strapless gown that I found on Asos.com (If I can find a link to the exact dress or a similar options I will link them below). I actually bought this dress during my Cyber Monday shopping a few months ago. I had no idea where I was going to wear this dress but it was so beautiful and seemed like the perfect spring/summer dress. I definitely think it can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. I love the beading detail along the bust of the dress and also the high slit. I paired the dress with simple heels and a small gold purse for simple yet classic look. It was such a great night and gave me the perfect excuse to get dressed up for an evening. I hope my pictures do it justice xo.
(this dress is actually sold out :( but here is a similar option)
